Reporting and Recording Solutions

Online data recording, reporting, and data dashboards have always been one of our specialities.

Whether it is creating an app for VisitEngland to allow their assessors to covertly grade Motorway Service Areas or Racecourses, a sustainability website allowing tourism industry SMEs to record and improve their green credentials, or a system to allow senior management at Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Bingo to check all their staff are up to date with mandatory Responsible Gambling and Anti-Money Laundering training requirements, our systems are designed to be simple to update and effective in presenting large datasets in a simple to read graphical dashboard.

Case studies are available here.

The ICV Reporting App

Our latest Reporting/Recording solution is the ICV Reporting Solution for use by the regional organisations overseeing the operation of the UK’s 43 Police Forces.

ICVs (Independent Custody Visitors) are volunteer members of the public who give their time to carry-out independent unannounced inspections of all the UK’s custody suites where people are held after arrest by the police.  These detainees are innocent until proven otherwise and have rights under the law to be detained to the correct standards and to have access to legal representation etc.  ICVs ensure this is happening and report back any examples of good or bad practice to the police oversight structure.

Previously performed using a paper-based system, the inspections and subsequent reporting was time-consuming and sometimes frustrating for the volunteers and those running the schemes.

Our online system allows data to be logged online at the time of the inspection and for any issues which could not be resolved at the time to be immediately flagged for resolution further up the police management chain.

In addition, extensive reporting allows for the identification of any trends in the data in a graphical way, and allows the police forces to effectively demonstrate to the public that they are adhering to their legal responsibities in the holding of detainees in an appropriate way.
